1. I have a million dollar view right outside, and sliding glass doors I can leave wide open if I want

2. My dog is awesome, she is beautiful, smells good, doesn't shed gobs of hair, is super athletic and fit enough to go mountain biking with me. AND, she can go off leash, recall, heel, etc and generally display to the rest of the world what an intelligent, well trained dog looks like.

3. I am about to have a tomato problem. I planted 8 plants in wine barrels, and now they are all taller than me and spilling out of their cages, crop is ripening fast, and despite eating several a day, I am about to be swimming in them. I think a party is in order.

I am about to have a tomato problem.

I wish I lived near you! I don't have a garden this year, so my tomato problem is that I need to get myself to a farmer's market, and they still won't taste as good as home grown ones.

Congrats on your green thumb!!!

2. Watching old home movies with my bro tonight.

3. One of the home movie segments shows me and my bro driving around downtown stl. A song comes on the radio and my present self says, "Wow, I really love this song." Right after I say this my past self on the video says, "wow, I really love this song." Myself from 10 years ago agrees with myself today. Awesome.

Here's my big 5 for the day..

1) Watched my wonderful, intelligent, kind son shoot even par in a golf match this evening. So proud of him.

2) We got a bunch of rain just after the match ended. I mean a bunch! Major drought here, so that really helped.

3) Just devoured some fresh plums. Wow - those were good. Going to eat a lot more fruit from now on.

4) Plainsgirl got a job today!! Good for her. I am rooting for my fellow Kansan to get through her tough situation.

and finally..

5) My DD comes home from college tomorrow afternoon for a quick visit. We plan to have lunch. She left on Friday and I really miss her. Hoping to get some suggestions on what color to paint our kitchen. Right now it is a puke green color that I never liked.

1) Had a fun time volunteering at a benefit to help soldiers Saturday. Met a number of very nice people and saw some old friends. DS's family came to have fun and give support too.

2) Spending the day tomorrow with DD and SonIL at a fun resort town.

3) Got a text from a BS I just found out about. Visited at a local place for over 2 hours and vowed to do this more in mutual support. Told her about SI.

4) Getting great support from friends and family to get past what xpos is doing. He refuses to let things be final and move on even tho he has made himself soooo happy! Yay for friends and family. They are the greatest!!
