1. First week of working is under my belt and I *love* both my jobs.

2. Picked Teslet up from stbx's and I remind him as we are driving home that mommy's rules are different from daddy's. He says, "Yeah, daddy rules let me jump on his furniture. BUt mommy's rules don't." I *love* my kid.

3. Brother took me to a minor league ball game this weekend. Had great seats, decent beer and the game was pretty good too.

1. Got a great long run in this weekend for marathon training. I kind of didn't want to stop (runner's high), but also didn't want to get injured, so I just did the planned mileage.

2. After the long run, was talking with two of my (very fast) Kenyan friends and we ended up laughing for like 15 minutes straight. I love laughing!!! Also hoping their speed rubs off on me, but this is doubtful. They told me my shoes made me look fast, but I said that was just appearances :)

3. Went to see one of my friends dance at an ethnic festival. She was great, and after I hung out with my friend and her mom for a few hours.

4. My circle of friends has just exploded since separation from XWH. It's great to have so many supportive, loving people that want to spend time with me.

I love this thread!

1. I resisted the urge to drive to the store this evening to buy wine or junk food and opted instead for herbal tea. I'm stronger than I think!

2. My son is is 19 and still in high school, but I've been seeing some real maturity in him, which tells me that he's past his moody teenage phase. Also, he's a kind and intelligent person, and he wants to find a job soon and move out on his own. I'm so proud of him.

3. When WH is out of town, I don't hardly think of him. Instead, I enjoy the company of my son and the cats. This tells me that I can create a happy life once I am able to move out.

1) Ran five quick miles yesterday morning with a buddy that was in town.

2) Had an awesome visit with my WWII hero at the nursing home yesterday. I read sections of a book to him and he provides commentary while he pets my dogs.

3) Shot two over par in a 9 hole golf match yesterday. Thumped my adversary!

I think this thread is my new Monday ritual!

1. Had a great roller-skating workout yesterday

2. Went to a brutal yoga/tai chi/pilates class with my S's former FWB . She's become a great yoga buddy! We bonded over missing him...

3. Had a busy Monday in the shop.

1. My doggy is 100% happier now that she actually gets to keep her toys for herself and they're not destroyed by his dog in an instant. She got a brand new "flea" today and is overjoyed.

2. The house doesn't stink like smoke and I came home from work, wanted a glass of wine, and there was still the wine I left there, there.

3. I get to sleep and not listen to drunken snoring.

1. Two coworkers complimented me on my nice handwriting. I am oddly proud of my script, so it's something that means a lot to me when noticed.

2. Overheard another one of my coworkers talking about me today (can you tell I spend a lot of time at work?) and it was all complimentary. It meant more to me since I wasn't supposed to hear it, so I know it was sincere.

3. My little parrot is the embodiment of unconditional love. I mean so much to that little guy, and he always knows just how to cheer me up by whistling my favorite songs and making kiss sounds at me. He hated XWH, so we're basically living his fantasy life right now, with me the only human in the house!

1. Picked up a large pharm company as my client for language teaching.

2. Spent a wonderful night with my 9 year old at my friend's house. We cooked together, got ice cream and crashed in bed with 2 cats sleeping beside us.

3. Had multiple friends check in on me and invite me to BBQs and birthday parties. Got more stuff to do than I have time for.

Can't risk this going on to page 3! (Also, inconnu, did I hear a rumor that you quit your job? )

Today:

1. Was extremely productive at work.

2. Work is ordering in lunch tomorrow and Friday so I can sleep in 5 more minutes and not make a lunch two days this week!

3. I had yet another great training run and am about to jump in the tub for a nice, relaxing bath.

Life is good!

1. Had a group of girlfriends tell me today that they are taking me out for my birthday next Monday evening. I am extra happy because this is something to look forward to after an 8:30 a.m. court hearing that same day.

2. With birthday month coupons I was able to purchase a beautiful sweater today from Banana Republic for only $8.86.

3. Had a gentleman at the gym tell me I had a nice smile. And I was all sweaty too!

2. Have decided to take a trip to the Dominican Republic with a friend in October. Her daughter is in Peace Corp and will be coming home at that time.

Awesome thread!

1. I got a pretty good night's sleep last night.

2. Tonight I get to have dinner with a friend I lost touch with a couple years back -- she and WH didn't get along and it got hard to keep up -- I'm excited to resume the friendship!

3. I am surrounded by supportive awesome people even at my office! I'm reminded there is so much more love than just romantic love, and I have a TON of people that love me.

1. Got a nice compliment on the outfit I wore to work yesterday.

2. About 20 students have commented on how much they love my hair. I would have never thought my hair was my best asset...but I suppose I shouldn't second guess middle school girls

3. I'm enjoying getting to know my coworkers. My world is expanding and stbx is starting to get pushed to the periphery.

1. Our quarterly board meeting is tomorrow, and the big boss called me in today to tell me they are going to introduce me to the board and I get to stay for part of the meeting -- this is a HUGE sign that even better things are in store for me at work!!!

2. I got a haircut today. While married, I just went to the cheap place as I lived like a pauper to put my XWH through medical school. Now I go to a really fancy place, get a wonderful haircut, and I love my stylist.

3. I went grocery shopping today, so my pantry is full of delicious food. And, it lasts a lot longer with only me to eat, so I probably won't have to go again for a couple of weeks (except for fresh produce.) Yay!

2) Had a totally selfish couple of days catching up on DVR shows after everyone left.

3) Had a nice visit with a niece and some neighbors - finding out just how many people care about me and also saw things about how H was acting.

4) Looking forward to a visit with a bunch of friends tomorrow.

5) Enjoying the weather being a bit cooler and less humid.

Sorry, needed to do more than 3 to catch things up!
