I am also finding it deeply interesting to notice the differences between the two men.
Example: every time my husband was quiet for a while and I asked what he was thinking about, he would say that it was all white noise up in his head, and I would tease him about people learning to meditate to achieve what he could do so easily. My friend is a Gemini and his brain is buzzing all the time on about 10 different levels - so he HAD to learn to meditate and does it a couple times a day.
Husband tolerated the type of music I like, but not much and preferred to watch tv together. Friend isn't big on tv, but likes listening to music with me.
Husband was more of a talker than friend. Friend's actions are doing most of the talking....coming over every day to hang out while pretty well treating me like his sister.
Just interesting.....neither one better but interesting, - all I'm sayin'

pretty hot. Similar to coming home from work and finding the house picked up and dinner is ready! 
Failure is success if we learn from it.
