I am 40-something, but mostly still consider myself like 27.
Holy cow - my GF's and hit a club last Saturday and I can say I never felt SO freakin' old!
I didn't know any of the music, I was twice the size of all the 00 girls there and oh my, my moves were outdated.
BUT all in all, we had a fab time and didn't care...but shit I felt OLD! LOL!!!
(ETA: when I was 'those girls', I will toot my own horn and say I was pretty darned neato. Then I married and became a mom, blah blah. Re-entering that scene was a big wake-up call, I'm so NOT young anywhere but in my mind! Ha ha!)

The fastest way to feel way more ancient than you are! I am 31 and feel 20 but in these places I feel I may as well be 60!

You just have to find the right club! I went out dancing a couple of weeks ago with a large group of my 30-something friends. The majority of the crowd was our age or slightly older.
12/18/15 found out my now EX boyfriend was trolling CL for underage girls. From the cops. The fun never stops.

You need to overwhelm those youngsters! You should have been at the TX g2g; we tore up the dance floor-AJsmom especially! (and I'm using the Royal 'we'; I really had nothing to do with it
)

Yeah. I can hold my own just fine in most clubs....
It's in the attitude....
Anyway, I go with a great group of friends, we always have the loudest and most fun table at the club/bar.....I have my own moves and I dance from the soul, not from watching others and I get comments all the time on my dancing (good comments
).....
Be yourself. If you are trying to keep up with the 19 year olds...not gonna work. Be comfy in your own skin. I've been told it's my confidence that I display that makes me stand out and my friends and I draw others to us. (I've had girls in the bathroom ask to join our group because we look like we are having so much fun).
Go and have fun. Who cares what you look like?

There's a club near San Diego called Belly Up. On Friday nights they have a happy hour and a great band that plays everything from Aerosmith to Beastie Boys, Romantics, MC Hammer, to Adele. Really diverse.
The majority of the crowd seems to be over 50, so I love going there, lol! If we ever do a big SoCal G2G we should go there!

All the comments here are so true! I love to dance and so I really don't care. I have lots of energy (so I am told) and still stay out to 3 and 4am dancing.
For St Pats I did the pub crawl. It was great. Sometimes those girls ask for advice in the bathroom!

I was trapped; no choice in clubs. LOL!
So, AJ's cut a rug! I'm interested in hearing about that!!!!
There is a 'club' in my town now that I'd probably be a hottie at, just not last weekend as I was not home and there was ONE place to go. LOL!
