He's a pro at NC and 180. Aren't I lucky.

I can't stand PA guys!

Along with the 180 you will need to adopt a stoic attitude.

Stay the course, focus on you and your kiddos...In that order.

Your trip will be great!

I can say your story makes me very glad I'm exiting now. Your WS and mine sound so very alike. To see yours is still like this 3yrs out, makes me very grateful for the past 9mos of failed R, that they weren't 36mos. You're helping me too. I can read your story and remind myself that some men just don't change, and I am not wrong not to wait for change any longer.

You enjoy that trip! You need a break from his cruelty. Try NC at least for the weekend. Focus on you, and come back renewed. You're gonna need some strength for the next couple weeks. It's hard, but about a month into the 180 is when things started getting easier for me. You're doing great!

Read what ophelia24 wrote. He is not doing a 180 on you. He is conflict/avoidant and is being passive aggressive with this. This is as natural to him as breathing. He can keep this up forever. Why? Because it means you are not TALKING. And that is what is comfortable to him. You both want different things out of this. You want to communicate about this, he doesn't. And until he is remorseful, which at this point I don't think is going to happen, he is not going to want to communicate about it. So you doing a 180 works well for him.

That is why it has to be about you. Has to be, or you are doing it for the wrong reason.
