I am an ISTJ too. Is it really that rare for women?

That description couldn't be any more spot on.... amazing.
the only thing on there that isn't me is that my home isn't "immaculately maintained"
Sadly, it reflects well how hard I find it to relate to others sometimes - especially in the workplace. Picking up on emotional cues isn't my strong suit!

I'm a Rational. I can pick up on the emotional cues; I just don't react to them.

We read Florence Littauer's "Personality Plus" years ago and found it spot on for MrPip and me. It is probably similar, but very easy to understand - and a fun read, too.
Her personality categories are Sanguine, Choleric, Phlegmatic, and Melancholy (based on Hippocrates). eta also that people have varying degrees of all of these traits, not just pigeon-holed into one.
eta: the thing we liked the most is that not only does it talk about your personality, but how to relate to others. It has been as valuable to how MrPip and I relate to each other as "Five Love Languages" - and that's saying a lot!

Meyers-Briggs makes a lot of sense, but I recommend Taibi Kahler's 'process communication' theory, because it's backed up by tens of thousands of data points. He developed his theory by microanalyzing video tape of real human beings communicating and thousands of surveys - very solid research.

INFJ here with just a tad on the side of introversion. I don't think it's definitive, though, because it's either or. A 1-10 scale might be more informative.
Age: 64..ummmmmmm, no...............65....no...oh, hell born in 1947. You figure it out!
