I don't know if you are still reading or if you have closed the book on SI in favor of the experts. If you have then fair enough. But, I did want to relay my experience with SI in hopes that you might see the value of this place.
I am mostly a lurker and post occasionally. However, I have greatly benefitted from the collective wisdom of SI for almost 2 years now. I could tell that my heart had grown hard and cold over the last few years. After reading through multiple heartbreaking posts, multiple inspirational posts and posts that were just breathtakingly beautiful, my heart has softened quite a bit. I have been brought to tears on more than one occasion. Tears don't come easy to me, but that is the power of this place.
As for the experts, been there, done that. Some are good. Some not so much. One of mine who was Harvard educated just wanted to teach me relaxation exercises. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but I was bleeding out emotionally at the time and needed so much more.
I believe the collective wisdom of SI is without peer when it comes to healing from infidelity. There are so many members here who are seasoned veterans with the scars to prove it. As many have already stated on your thread, their only interest is a healthy and whole Rocket80. I hope yoiu can see that SI has already been of benefit to you. You stated that you and your wife have been in IC and MC together. I'm sure during that time you have gained some insight. Did you realize that in a few short posts on this thread, "truthsetmefree" was able to get you to see things you hadn't considered before? My encouragement to you is to stay with SI and incorporate it with your IC and MC. As an added bonus, you get "Notthevictim's" fart jokes thrown in for free. (T/J over)
