Iím stuck.... Literally

iwouldnever posted 2/7/2019 07:19 AM

Ex and I have been divorced for just over a year now. He welcomed a new bundle of joy with his home wrecker last summer and now between the two of them they have 7 children. We have four. As per our agreement he is supposed to pick up the kids each day and take them to school. This morning, like many before he failed to show up. So I get the kids together get them to school, but my younger two go to his place for about. 1/2 hour before the bus comes. We live in upstate ny and this morning was pretty cold and wet. Which means everything is a sheet of ice. So as Iím dropping them at his place, I slid right of the driveway and through his front lawn. And now Iím stuck. 😕 ex comes out to assess the situation and slips and falls flat on his ass. The poor widdle muffin. The sheer blue of embarrassment on his face matches the cast on his wrist that he broke after getting into a fight with his ďsoulmateĒ. I believe he punched a wall.

Either way, I may be stuck, but I canít keep from laughing, as I sit here and stare at the house we once shared. The house that was once filled with love and memories of my littles is now filled with lies, deceit and fighting.

What a mucky situation!

Is there anything you can do so you do not have to rely on him in the mornings? Doesn't sound like this is someone you want to be in the position of needing because he can really mess up your schedule when he doesn't show.

His environment sounds children, fight that ends up with a broken risk, inconsistent with his picking them up in the morning. The more you can do to stabilize - the better.

Hope they got your car out quickly so you can go N/C from his yard

Next time you go, take a fat black Sharpie and ask if you can autograph his cast. :)

T/J: Josieó you are just the right amount of evil :-) End of T/J

I cannot for the life of me understand people who donít put their kids first. 7 kidsó you better like kids! I am sorry he is being an ass, but I loved the visual you described and even more loved that you saw the silver lining.

Let me know if you need a Sharpie :-)

Am I the only one that would have kept my foot on the gas and spin 4 really big holes in the ground?
