Triggering Podcast

fournlau posted 4/27/2020 16:17 PM

This has to do with the podcast "Healing broken trust Affairs, Cheating, Infidelity" I just chose a random episode, Episode 63 and as I was walking around my neighborhood listening to it my jaw dropped and I screamed out "WHAT!!??"

Early into the episode the guy literally said that the BS has responsibility in the "why" of the WS and that BS's are understanding of the things they did to cause the infidelity! Am I in the twilight zone? That's not all, and I should have stopped listening after this little nugget, he said that couples, right after finding out about an A should begin MC, that it is a giant mistake to go to IC and decide to go to MC well after that! Not to mention, he also suggested that any counselor you sought out should be M friendly because you are going to be saying a lot of negative things about your spouse and you dont want your IC to recommend you get a D.

I'm going to listen more and see what other BS comes out of their mouths. I am in disbelief!

Aha, another nugget, it is OK to stay M for the kids!! Because going through a D is traumatic for kids. This is sooo bad for a newly betrayed person!

Well, that's pure bulls*&^. Do they have a means to comment on their podcasts? If so, I will help you in debunking their.....bunk.

I listened to a podcast with Tony Robbins and Esther Perel a year after D-day! It was awful. It pretty much justified affairs and blamed the BS. It was crazy!!

Stop listening to that garbage.

Listen to music, listen to audio books, but stay away from podcasts.
