I remember reading While I Was Gone by sue miller i think...years ago.
What are some other great fiction authors that capture single-mom/divorce/ or mid-life stuff? thanks.
Also, I've never read romance books much...but wonder if there are any good reads including the above topics...

I just enjoyed "Seven Year Switch" by Claire Cook. A bit too pat an ending, but very enjoyable.

The World Below by Sue Miller deals with this as well and it's one of my favorite books ever.
All We Ever Wanted Was Everything by Janelle Brown
Happiness Sold Separately by Lolly Winston
This isn't fiction but I loved A Stone Bridge North by Kate Maloy
To name just a few!
