I have two gorgeous cookbooks by Tessa Kiros. The photographs are beautiful, and she is a wonderful storyteller.

She is half Finnish and half Greek, and her husband is Italian. The recipes reflect these ethnicities.

The titles are: Falling Cloudberries and Apples for Jam.

So far this week I have made Baked chocolate pudding, Lentils and sausage, Lamb and green bean casserole, and Moussaka. Every dish has been excellent.

I am a cookbook junkie and these are fabulous.

Those sound like they would be lovely gifts. I will check them out for sure. My sister loves to cook and has a wonderful cookbook collection. Thanks!

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

Boudicca,

I am a fellow cookbook junkie as well! It has been my dirty little secret! Now I have to sell my house and downsize to a zen like minimalist. I'm thinking I need therapy to transition to that person! I don't know this Tessa person, I'll have to check it out. You had me at "photographs are beautiful" and "wonderful storyteller". Some of my cookbooks I have never made a dish from, I just peruse them like a coffee table book. It is sort of like a meditation to browse a beautiful cookbook with photos and a lovely story. Not many understand. Hello there my kindred spirit!
