Anyone know of any good ones?
I think this question was asked a while back, but I went about 8 pages back and didn't see it. The sites I'm finding are more geared toward apartments; anybody know of sites specific to houses? Thanks!

I use realtor.com and just search under rentals rather than buying. You can get pretty specific as to what you're looking for. These are generally for rentals listed by an agency, though. I have a couple of other military specific ones I use as well, but I don't think those would work.

Tumbler ...or the good ole penny saver.
Through tumbler we found this gorgeous two family home with a deck and yard. Downside, not much parking and to go to work we had to go down this hill which was slippery as hell during the winter.
We didnt take that one bc wh wanted single family.
The one we are in we found through the penny saver.

A friend of mine is relocating to Philadelphia. She went on VRBO.com (vacation rental by owner) and found an apartment in the center of the city that she is renting for three months to cover the summer. She is getting a really good deal on it too because of the longer rental.
I've used VBRO for a week at a time vacation rentals and they are pretty good. Try that or one of the similar websites and then see if you can work a deal out with the owner.
