Just climbed into bed for the last time as a (not very successful) self employed man.

Tomorrow I will again be a full time employee, pension, holiday pay, sick pay, regular salary and a bloody boss! LOL

Didn't think it would happen but the adultery stuff and everything else I went though meant I pretty much wiped out all the hard work I'd put in to my business over 3 years, it's a she but inevitable I guess.

Never mind though as for over a year my previous employers have been tryin to get me back and finally I succumbed....

Nervously looking forward tomorrow although the staff there are apparently not so enthusiastic at my return.

I used to be the apprentice there and ill be returning as the senior engineer. Thy aren't liking the thought of me telling hem what to do apparently

Oh well, just going to try and rise above all the pettiness and just do a good job but it'll take a few months to get the guys in board with me I recon.

Probably have lots to vent about in here when they push me too far

Not long got home and just climbed into bed.

First day went well, luckily it was a shift of guys who are hard workers and I get on with.

I stopped on late to see the night shift crew. They were different. A few snide came from one and a complete lack of any interest in work from any of the others. Basically told me i'll be busy next week as they some get off their bums to do anything for me.

Not bothered though. It's a regular income for me. It'll take a bit for them to break me and all the engineering and operational higher management are behind me and are open to hear any changes I can suggest to improve the offices performance.

I'm pretty tired now though as I didn't stop for a break all day.

Thanks for asking

Looking forward to tomorrow now.

Good Luck foreverempty,

I tried the self employment thing twice but couldn't keep the cash flow steady enough to continue and xWW kept pushing me to get a "real job".

I also did the going back to the old place thing. I think it is a good thing that you are going in with a new position and more responsibilities. This will make it easier. I hope that all the old office politics don't discourage you though. You have more authority now and the guys on the floor will have to learn to accept that. Hope today is even better than yesterday was.
