I just have to share the best purchases I made at the local GoodWill store recently. I was able to buy a brand new Boppy with a cover for $5.00, 4 white Fiestaware dinner plates for $4.00 and 6 bottles of brand new O.P.I. nail polish, along with 1 bottle of Orly nail polish, and two mini bottles of nail polish( Ulta and Estee Lauder) for $4.00. Also, a Wedgwood childs bowl and plate in the Beatrix Potter Designs Peter Rabbit for $1.49.
eta: I forgot to add that once again I found a box of douche at the GoodWill store. It wasn't quite as sorry as the first box of douche I found at the Goodwill store. However, this box was a little squished and it was a 2 pack with 1 missing. Once again, who the hell would buy a box of used douche?
What are your best finds at a thrift store?

I got a brand new jacket by Eddie Bauer for $5.99 at Savers a few weeks ago. I don't think it had ever been worn, and it's totally my color - cranberry.
Last week I got an Ann Tayor long sleeved top, striped black and white, for $3.99. In perfect shape.
I've also got many mason jars there too. I have a set of 6 six ounce ones for drinking out of, then 4 of the 16 oz that I use for vases or holding pens and such.
Me - happy!

There is a thrift store near where I live. I got a $50 plus pair of Kenneth Cole dress shoes for $4. And 5 Jerry Garcia ties for 50 cents each. Score

..my W and I visit thrift shops wherever we go, especially Value Village and Salvation Army shops.
..we have learned that anything you want is out there at a tiny fraction of the cost one might pay at the 'fucking mall'
..i still buy my socks and underwear retail though!

I've found two waterford glasses, one waterford vase and a star shaped waterford paperweight at our goodwill within the last two months. none of them were more than 1.99 ea. Awesome since I can no longer afford waterford retail... :)
