I have court on Monday morning. Can I ask the judge for a continuance to retain legal representation? Or am I too late?

Yes you can ask. It depends on the rules/laws in your area.

You might emphasized that your came upon some new information this week to explain why you want a lawyer now instead of getting one earlier.

But that's just a lot of water

Hopefully, the fact that I have had a few parents reach out to me to tell me that he is supplying alcohol to my children and their friends will suffice.
