Today is a beautiful sunny day, but I still feel a little sad, lonely. WS suggested some details of the separation for the care of our small child. I know him moving out is the inevitable, but each time he brings it up, I am just so, overwhelmed and blindsided by it all.
Sure he didn't show me any respect, affection, or love, but there's a part of me that still wants to keep him.

One days you will see and understand that you didn't deserve this and he doesn't matter. Fuck that guy.
Once a cheater, always a cheater happens when your cheater doesn't have remorse.
Regret is not remorse- know the difference!

I'm so sorry FOL. I understand how you feel. But, you do deserve so much better! No excuse for any physical violence for any reason!
May i suggest, "Getting Past Your Breakup" by Susan Elliott. has some good stuff in there with respect to detaching, which you most need.
Once he gets out, you can begin detaching and healing more easily. This guy needs to be as far out of you life as possible if he's threatening you in any way. He really needs is ass kicked.
Me: Creating a better life for myself
Her: Somebody else's problem
Married: 22 years
2 sons at home
1 son in college
Divorced on 9/4/14!
Often it's the deepest pain which empowers you to grow into your highest self.

Absolutely normal feeling ... that will pass. In time, just the thought of wanting to keep him, will make you
. Focus on YOU, healing YOU, and rebuilding YOUR life. YOU can do this!
