I have been bracing myself for the job of filing for D. P/A NPD FTG said he would do it. I told him back in Feb I wanted to be done with D by the end of the year. He said "me too".
Of course you know with a P/A there has to be punishment stalling and blameshifting before anything gets done. In California there is a minimum of 6 months from date of filing to final decree, if there are no delays. Well, whaddaya know. What a huge surprise. Day late dollar short he didn't get the papers filed in May. Nope. June 3rd. Hahahaha I coulda toldya that was gonna happen. 
So we will still be legally married for 2013 taxes. I have been receiving unemployment benefits (which are taxable income) and have NOT been having taxes withheld. So there will be taxes due and he is gonna have to pay his share. Hahaha.
I am just glad it will be over, SOMEDAY.
