What is up with birds. I have killed three (at least) because they fly low and right into my cars line of travel. Its like they are playing chicken.
One was a gorgeous tan and cream on I95. The most recent was a small baby type bird.
I dont remember birds flying so low.
Sad. Very sad

Mourning doves, sully? They do it all the time. They fly low and fast and startle easily. They used to fly into cars all the time when I live in AZ.
As for the 'baby', maybe it's a fledgling (just learning to fly) that got confused.

Its even these sparrow tyoe birds that fly out every morning as I go to work.
Im constantly seeing huge bird splats on the road. Like the size of a crow.
The amount of birds flying low is so ..this is not normal
The bird I hit today was definitely a baby. I loathe bitting animals ..esp babies. I feel so bad.

So weird you would say this Sully. My daughter called me Friday morning and within about a 20 minute period two different birds slammed into the side of her house. One right into the storm door. One was stunned for a few minutes but then hot up and flew away. The other wasnt even phased and just got up and flew away right away.
