Each of the following arguments can be justified by one of the inference or equivalence rules of propositional logic. Name the rule.

(a) #3.

[Pa ● (Rab ˅ Sab)] ⊃ Qb

Pa ⊃ [( Rab ˅ Sab) ⊃ Qb]

(b) #7.

(∃x) (Px ● Qx)⊃(y)(Py ⊃Qy)

~(∃x) (Px ● Qx)˅ (y)(Py ⊃Qy)

I infer equivically that I cannot logically propose an answer.

After I clicked here I wondered what WHAT was I thinking with the thread title and all, like I qualified...

I think there should be a Rosetta Stone post since that is obviously not a language I recognize. Translate to hieroglyphics and it might look more familiar???

Thanks, TR! I know nothing about propositional logic, so I couldn't help her, but now it makes some sense with regard to basic mathematical principles, a applying the distributive property, and b applying equivalencies to propositional logic operations. Or I could just be just a little too analytical
