I know there have been posts about her on this site, but her new cheater album with the ultimate cheater anthem is making me fume. What in the civilized world makes her think singing and making money on someone's intimate pain is her right? I know it is her story/life, but how is taking it public a good thing? She says she is setting the record straight. Well, we already knew she cheated, stole a husband and father, and has continued to whine about it.

I listen to all music with a different ear now and these songs are ringing flat. This is downright painful for all of us BS.

I see a full blown break with reality in the next 5 years for her. It will be about time for a younger model for hubs.

The whole album is her "story". The worst one is "Borrowed". Yes, the lyrics are a possible trigger they are that sick. But, I do know if our OW could make a buck or figure a way to use the A to further her career, she would do it in a heartbeat. Leann is not so special, she just has a very public platform to act out her sickness. She used to have a house near us up on a hill that overlooked the whole countryside. I heard she had to sell due to finances.

I feel the same kind of disgust every time I hear Sugarland's song 'Stay'. They were nominated for, and won, several awards for a song sung from the perspective of an OW. I never really liked the song before and I absolutely HATE it now.

Stay is the song that made my friend stop talking to me for a month, because she played it for me when she was an OW and told me how sweet it was blah blah and I went off on how ridiculous it all was whoops.

Country songs are full of cheating, but I prefer the other side....a little Loretta singing Fist City makes me smile. We need some more "whore, get out of my life" songs.

As long as infidelity is glamourized like this, society will continue to accept it as the norm. I'm not a religious person but I am a moral person. Infidelity should never be accepted behavior in an enlightened society.
