Today of all days, I hope you can find a way to enjoy some time with your family.
We all screwed up, but we are all capable of making things different and better. I know that will look different for each of us.
Do what you can.

I have so much respect for the WHs on here who are owning their stuff and working every day to become better men.
Enjoy your day and take pride in knowing that you are becoming the men that you were meant to be.
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

Adding to this rather than starting a new thread...
Not long after d-day, gerrygirl found this song. I think she felt it was from her perspective as a new BW. I think though that this can be a WS song too, if you're at the right stage.

If you're looking for a way to reconnect with your BS, maybe try just sitting down and listening to this one together.

Wishing all SI WH dads, and all dads, peace, healing, joy.
I'm sure there's a Wheeler Dealer marathon on somewhere (I just love that show).

Sorry I missed this thread!
I'm really proud of the FWH's here doing their best to put their family back together. It's not easy at all - and it's very honorable work.
I hope everyone had a good weekend.
