So many great lines in the finale, but the two that made me laugh out loud -
"I'd tell you to go to hell but I never want to see you again."
"She always did love the sea."

Oh, and I forgot -

That WAS pretty funny.
You know, everyone was talking about how Don was going to be all spiraling out of control on this one, but he didn't seem to sink any lower than he has in the last few episodes.
Yeah, and Bob has always freaked me out. I figured he was either a gov't plant or a serial killer. SK is winning out right now. He DID have a finny zinger at Roger, though...

"Gail did her hair special for you!"
I was curious about Bob - he was obviously NOT who he was trying to portray, but I never thought he was some nefarious creature. Love the friendship that seems to be blossoming between him and Joan.

Probably one of the best episodes in the whole series. They totally set up the final season spendidly.
I sat there waiting breathlessly for Pete to be sad about his mother. No can do!
Sally getting busted for buying beer and getting drunk at boarding school. Snort. Her emancipation continues!
Don sure knows how to dump women, now doesn't he?
Bob is a decades younger Don - fake identity; you really don't "know" him - seems to me he's just trying to charm his way to the top. If you recall the episode years ago that showed how Don got involved in advertising to begin with. He charmed his way in too.
Loved Roger's little "chat" with Bob about Joan - OMG, so illegal on so many HR levels in today's standards.
Loved, loved, loved the back head shot of Peggy in Don's chair near the end.
And particularly the shot of Don with the kids in front of his childhood home. Especially when his eyes met Sally's. Kind of like she "gets" him a little better now.
I can barely wait!

OK, we missed the first half of the show, can somebody catch me up on everything that happened up to that train wreck of a Hershey meeting? What happened to Pete's mom? What did Roger say to Bob?

Oh, Jana. No recap would do it justice.
I would suggest catching the replay. They tend to replay it during the week.
