Yup.... that was the tagline to the following email on the O.L.D site this morning...

I'm not kidding. My family owns five of them. They're like dogs except more powerful and they kick. Oh, and they're very good at tearing down fence. I'd much rather have a full sized horse!

Random much? Creepy much? You betcha! Kinda glad this crazy lives out of state!

I sorta wanna respond "Alrighty Then" BUT...I think that would prompt a waterfall of crazy that I'm not ready to have unleashed on my inbox....

So....crickets it is....

(and for the record....I made NO mention of horses, mini horses or unicorns of any kind in my profile....)

Ok, if I got a text like that it would make me very curious about mini horses. In fact just reading this I had to go google them, so I dunno, I don't think its all that crazy of a text, as it would definitely cause me to want to ask questions about them...

Hmm yeah, I think it's kind of funny and would want to learn more. It sounds like he knows raising mini-horses is odd so he's trying to joke about it and put people at ease.

Oddly, just last month I helped a mini-horse trainer immigrate to the US. Not kidding. Hmm, he was handsome!

I think you're a little oversensitive Shelly, but obviously, an animal person is not your cup of tea.

I totally understand his thoughts - they are very true. I don't find the thoughts odd at all.

My first reaction was a bit like yours but on reflection - I'd rather mini-horse talk than a flaccid selfie.

Just sayin'.

It is kinda weird but a sharp wit is hard to gage in writing.

Having raised a couple minis I get it. Doesn't sound odd to me.

I guess it was more the randomness of it that struck me as odd. I love animals....I'm just not used to people sending such random thoughts through the 1st email.... I'm sure he's just trying to get my attention....and he did. So, I guess it worked...

Well, I would laugh because he is 1000% correct!!!! They ARE of the DEVIL! But that is because I am a horse person and I know this. If this is sent to someone who knows nothing whatsoever about horses and has nothing about horses in their profile, I could see why it is a weird thing to say.

I might agree about the mini-horses. I was bitten by one in Amish country when I ran out of goat kibble to feed him. He bit the ever-loving junk out of my arm and then snorted and pranced away. Mean little sucker, but cute as the dickens.
