So last night, I was supposed to pick up DD from my ex's house. I asked if he could drop her off instead, and I offered to give him gas money.

Ex was supposed to drop DD over at 7. STBH (5 days!!!) was supposed to be home at 6:30. Perfect...I hopped in the shower at 6:20.

All of a sudden, door to the bathroom opens, and DD comes into the bathroom. I quickly finished up, and asked her 4 year old little self if STBH was home (I figured that would be how she got in the house). She said yeah, and went off to her bedroom. So I finished rinsing shampoo out of my hair, and walked out of the bathroom without my towel on. Walked out into the living room, and was surprised to find STBH NOT home, and my ex standing in the doorway. I guess the door had been unlocked, and he came early with DD, so she just opened the door and came into the house. He didn't want to just leave her there with me in the shower and no other adults in the house, so he stood at the door waiting for me to come out. And I did, completely naked!!!

SO EMBARRASSING!

Of course ex made it so awkward, eyes bugging out of his head and not even attempting to look away, and went, "Oh hey, I like the new piercings. Those are hot." (I have my tits pierced and a christina piercing as well- which is above the clit- they are hardly new, but new to him since he hasn't seen anything in 4 years)

Unbelievable!

So, for anyone who is annoyed or having a bad day...it could be worse. Your idiot ex could have just seen you naked. :(

I have been cheated on by 3 different men, and I have more DDays than anyone ever should. I am here, just trying to pickup the pieces.

It's been strange for me to feel self conscious in front of nearly ExH, I agree with you there...and that's with clothes on!

Good for you, it sounds like you "held your own".

A friend of mine, fellow BS, would have said, "my new BF likes them, too!"

Of course I told STBH...he laughed about it and was totally cool with it (I mean it was an accident).

His response? "At least he was complimentary. My ex would have told me I got fat, or pointed and laughed or something." Hahaha, true that.

Me too, NG, me too!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.
