In the last 9 months I have:
* Migrated to working directly for what was my client
* Changed all the tools I work with while keeping the same job description
* a new boss
* Quit the dojo I worked for
* signed on with a new dojo
* New dojo works with special needs people, I have zero experience
* Signing up tomorrow to join a 12 week weight loss challenge with a nutritionist at work
* a daughter who has a cell phone now
* a son who has lost his front tooth and looks totally different
* a daughter who started middle school
* a daughter who is also starting a new group at church.
Make it stop!

A giant hug for you BR. That's a whole bunch of new.
I had a moment this evening. Ds just started French Immersion, and I was helping him with his homework and it was HARD. I had this "ACK.. What did I sign up for here?!?!" moment. I decided to just get through the sheet with him. Just one sheet. Surely one sheet won't kill me. I certainly was not going to think of it in terms of an entire year, or several years
So look at it all in bite sized chunks if you can. It will keep you sane.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
