I have always been told it is the little things in life. Today I understand that. We just laid around all morning, made love then took a shower. After that it was off to run some errands. We had some time to kill before picking up my youngest from practice. DH asked me if I was thirsty and then surprised me with a blizzard at DQ. He then wanted to drive by his old middle school (it is just up the street from the DQ). There is a park right beside of the school. I mentioned something about how I use to go there and swing with my best friend. He pulled the car over, turned it off and got out. He came around to my door and opened it up. You guessed it, we went and got on the swings. I haven't done that in years! It was so wonderful, swinging side by side with the wind in my hair. I was laughing like a little girl. There was an older man in the park with what I am guessing was his grandson. He was watching us and laughing. When it was time to go DH jumped off his swing and helped me stop my swing. He then took me in his arms and kissed me. As I was getting in the car I turned and looked at the older man in the park. He was staring at us with a huge smile on his face.
It felt SO good to be happy!

Thank you! I can't seem to wipe the smile off my face!!!!
He is outside mowing now. I am sitting here wondering if we could get away with going to bed as soon as he is done.
