Just not having the best week

So it seems that this week just keeps getting more and more stressful.

My US taxes are a mess and I'm waiting for a call from the accountant who will now be doing my US taxes since I live in Canada now. I got a letter from the IRS saying that 3 years were screwed up. Sigh...at least they were nice and helpful when I called them.

I'm now 6 months into my waiting to hear phase of getting my permanent resident status. I just emailed the lawyer to see if they have heard anything. I know he said it could take up to a year for everything to get finalized, but I thought we would have heard something about DH being named my sponsor.

I'm trying to get my coaching certifications from the US so I can get the equivalent up here. The only thing I need to send of the packet is a letter from my previous team. The business manager got back to me 3 weeks ago saying she would email it out that evening, but never did. Now to be fair, I did try to get this done 4 years ago when I moved up here, but was told to wait because they were revamping the criteria. It has taken them this long and now it's a hurry up and I need this now situation. I have to have an updated letter otherwise I would use the old one.

There is a few other things, but these are the major highlights of the week. I'm just ready for everything to be done, but it will be a long time before that happens.

Just needed to vent a bit.

x is American and we had a CA from the beginning because you can really get in a pickle with the tax thing.

Glad you're getting it sorted. Especially if you're travelling for work -- they have different per diem rates for every state. It's a nightmare...

I don't travel too much. Coaching is mostly local unless it's team travel then the team goes on a bus. It's just crazy right now.

I normally go to the states to get my taxes done, but I couldn't this year and got them done up here. They did them wrong so I had find another accountant. It was not fun at all.

Vent away, cant. Sorry things are so stressful. I hate being in the "hurry up and wait" mode.

Sending you mojo to get things moving.
