I don't want people to subscribe to my YouTube channel thingy-dingy because then they can see my activity on YouTube. Personally, I am not comfortable with anyone seeing my activity on YouTube. It bothers me immensely. Not that I am ashamed, I don't see things that I'm ashamed of. It's just none of anyone's business.

How do I get rid of this YouTube subscriber? Is there a way to prevent people from subscribing in the future? I didn't make my YouTube account so that people could subscribe.

I have no answer for you on how to get rid of them, I hardly use it myself. You don't think this is your pervy ex checking on you, trying to get dirt, do you? I sincerely hope not. Eww.

It could be him. I used my real name when creating the channel, plus it links back to my Google account. I want this subscriber to go away!

Bless your heart. I wish this guy would vanish into a puke green, cat-spray scented vapor never to materialize and bother you or your kids again. Is there an admin there you can message and have the subscriber removed? Perhaps start a new account under an alias and new email? I know that would be a pain, but better than knowing that psycho loser was maybe stalking you...

ETA: yes, I'm Southern. Sometimes "bless your heart" is just that. Like now. Don't let the haters make it something else...

I don't know how to cut off a YouTube subscriber, but I'd like to learn, too. I suspect an anonymous subscriber to my food blog is S/O's creepy X who stalked and tormented me for years. However, if it's a "real" subscriber, I don't want to toss the person out. I'd still like to know HOW to do it, just in case.

I see that I can block a subscriber from making comments. I don't see how to block or ax them entirely.

Try this?

1. Sign into your YouTube account

2. Go to http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=[YOURUSERNAME]&view=subscribers

3. On this page you'll be able to see the users who are subscribed to your channel and the thumbnail icon from their channel. Below the thumbnail image you'll see a "Block" button. 4. If you click the "Block" button you'll remove the user's subscription to you, and you'll also block them if their account is active on YouTube.

Hope that helps.

ETA: It may not work properly. If not I'll keep looking. I KNOW there's a way to do it, I have friends that have done it.

Subscribers can't see your watch history, only you can. I just found a "privacy" section where you can choose to keep your "likes" and list of subscribers private so nobody sees them.
