I headed into work today with a positive thought that "today will be the best day of my life!"

okay a little bit too grand a goal... but still

I just quite OLD (I gave it a good 3 weeks... but I'm just not cut out for it) so I've opted to focus more on my career with all that free time I now have when the kids are with their dad.

Then lo-n-behold my supervisor asked if I would go on a two week travel program to EUROPE! Not only all expenses paid to three countries but they give me an extra month's salary as a bonus! (I could so use the money.. and the travel... and the distraction... and something to look forward to).

Fingers crossed it all gets approved (but if not this year then I'll try for next year - its an annual trip)

Awesome!

While I did meet a couple nice guys thru OLD, I am thinking of non renewing my subscriptions. In real life, everyone tells me how pretty and intelligent I am, but, it seems like most of the guys interested in me do not fit what I asked for in my profile at all. I am thinking it may be a blessing in disguise so I can concentrate on "me"
