When we got new no-wax vinyl tile flooring for our kitchen a few years ago, I asked the place we got it what would be a good cleaner for it. They sold me a cleaner which was ok (though expensive). I prefer the look of a wax cleaner and finally realized I could use that on the tiles, even though they are "no-wax". When I used it (Mop and Glow), however, the chemical/perfume odor was overwhelming to both me and my husband. I didn't remember that from using it in the past, but it bothered us this time.
Does anyone know of a kitchen floor wax cleaner that doesn't have such a strong odor? Or is there any non-wax cleaner that you would recommend that isn't really expensive?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I have original hard wood flooring but ceramic tile in the kitchen. I've tried everything (Mop and Glow is the worst and leaves all floors cloudy)and the best product I've found is Quick Shine and can be ordered online or purchased locally at Wal*Mart(ugh!) or Home Depot. I usually go to Home Depot and pay a few cents more rather than patronize Wal*Mart.
It really works and has a 'clean' smell.

I use white vinegar and water or Brite. Not much odor with the Brite, not all that expensive either

Use a Shark steam cleaner. It's fast, quiet, and uses only water. There's no odor, nothing toxic. I love my Shark!

Me too Gaby! I have allergies so I try to keep cleaners to a minimum as they are often toxic. I use borox or baking soda if I need some scrubbing power.

I run a housecleaning business, I 1C white vinegar to 2gallons of water, and add a squeeze of dish soap (I like blue dawn the best) and mop with a well rung rag mop. This works for any floor. Though, if a client has a shark steam mop, I will always opt for that first! And, IMHO, shark makes the best steam mop!
