I recently changed jobs. The clientele here is well, let's say, considerably better off financially than most people. Part of my job is to audit scanned documents and today I was going over some legal documents involving the death of a client.
It was all the usual stuff you'd expect when someone who has a large estate dies. And then I got to the affidavit where they tracked down the considerably younger female friend of the decedent, who then had to swear in a binding legal document as to details of the relationship, as well as acknowledge she had benefitted financially from the account/client. Oh yeah, and then they made her add to the document that she knew she would not further benefit or inherit anything from the estate.
This document was dated just 4 days after the client died. Oh, and there was also a very complete background check done on this female "friend."

I have never agreed with that line of thinking. I think it is impossible for all secrets to eventually out themselves. I think a lot of secrets come out in strange ways (I accidentally found one of my H's AP online dairy 7 years after the affair ended) I just don't think they all secrets come out.
No ones knows what they don't know.

"Taking the secret to the grave." Yea the person may take it to their grave but it doesn't mean the secret will never come out.
Totally agree.
