And even though I got a snow day off from school earlier this week, I really, really needed the weekend to get here!!!

Teslet and I are doing absolutely NOTHING! In fact, I may possibly decree that it is a jammies weekend.

What's everyone else got planned?

Hanging with my favorite teen this weekend and watching our favorite college football team, perhaps in our jammies!

As a side note from posting last weekend's plans to head to the Gulf for beach therapy trip for me and the kiddos, X was last one at his family's condo with the mistress/girlfriend (knowing I'd be the next one there). They didn't clean the place! Had to start off the long getaway weekend by washing the linens and cleaning the bathroom. She even left lipstick stains on the towel for me to find. Glad I was in a "good place" and laughed off there nastiness and inconsideration. We had a wonderful weekend, btw.

I took today off of work as I've barely taken any vacation days this year, and we have use-it-or-lose-it. Trying not to lose any!

Started with an 11 mile run with my friend this morning. Then, I ran errands and did some major shopping. I have this fabulous second-hand store about 30 minutes away from me (I go every other month or so) where I buy the majority of my work and dating clothes. Made some huge additions to my fall/winter wardrobe. Then, off to REI where I returned a pair of shoes and bought another. Orchard where I got some fabulous apples. Winery where I bought a case (I'm bringing for Thanksgiving.) Spending the rest of the evening finishing my book, hanging out with the parrots, and not going out to see my friend's band, because I'm just not feeling it tonight.

Tomorrow will be a run in the morning, then my art museum occasionally has tours in French, so I'm going to that (trying to keep up my skills.) Then, going to my hometown to watch a movie in French with my parents (they indulge my hobbies!) I'll spend the night with them, so there will be lots of beer drinking and card playing.

Sunday I'm going to my mead making class (tesla, you must start brewing again!) then possibly a book reading if I can make it in time. Hopefully some running, and some cleaning. Guy I'm seeing wants to meet up, but I'm thinking about breaking things off. That will be another post.

Then it will be Monday morning before we know it :(

I think I need to switch the weekend to work ratio from 2:5 to 5:2. Or 7:0 and be retired! Too many interesting things to do to spend so much time at work!

Trying to finish up the results from my charity tournament that was in September. Oops. Just need to type like mad. Been lazy.

Saturday I need to clean like mad, inside and outside. Would like to take my daughter out shopping for at least a new shirt as she has a special occasion coming up I would like her to look and feel good for.

Sunday is our Santa Claus Parade in my town. They set up right behind my house. I can watch some of the floats getting ready all morning. My parents and my sister with her 3 little kids are coming over. I'll make a big pot of spaghetti for after.

I am finally, finally, going to get a little down time this weekend. First it was non-stop houseguests (for 10 weeks), then we had a new woodstove to install, then it's been a solid 3 weeks of cutting firewood and clearing out the mess of slash left from a friend's boyfriend that I stupidly allowed to come cut wood on my place last winter.

Me & the Bear have been working our butts off to get ready for winter, and I think we're almost there (thank God!)

On the plus side......I've gotten to spend some time hanging out with my mom, the Bear, and grandson at some pretty cool bonfires over the past few weeks. I shoulda stocked up on weenies and marshmallows!

I'm sitting here now with a nice fire in the woodstove, stew on the kitchen stove, and sitting on my raggedy butt. It's been raining and should turn to snow later tonight.

Ahhhhhhh!

About to have pizza & movie night with the kiddos.

Since the kids will be spending a lot of time with EX this weekend I'm going to spend time singing at home. And packing the last of someone's stuff in The Garage.

I have a good one: I am spending only the third night in nine years without either of my children, 7 and 8. Both will be at sleepovers!

I have no exciting plans except to RELAX. Maybe I'll rent a movie!

Mine has finally started--work ends at 12:30am on Friday night. Tomorrow I'm going on a geology hike, then I'm scoping out a new (to me) bead store.

Sunday there's a birding outing in the morning on the Mohawk River, then football.

A little shopping today, now being lazy on the couch drinking Cabernet as well.

On Saturday, Operation Shoebox packing party at church, after that 40th birthday party to attend to at the local Yacht Club. Thinking about going out to dance after that but not sure yet.

On Sunday, church in the morning and then no plans other than possibly sorting old pictures and finally putting them into frames. But then, you never know who and what might be lurking around the corner....

All in all, looking forward to a bit slower weekend.

Last night was movie night with the kiddos, and then I got caught up on some TV shows I missed during the week.

Today, I've been running around and doing chores all morning; the kiddos and I have a raking session in a few, and then it's off to run a few errands. After that, we're visiting Grandma and Grandpa.

Sunday is the usual: grocery shopping, chores, grading and correcting.

Have a great weekend!

We are going to see the Rockettes in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular this afternoon. I haven't seen this show in 15 - 20 years. I am so looking forward it. The only thing that would be better is if we actually we seeing it in NYC but instead we will be in ATL.

Afterwards dinner at Ruth Chris. It's going to be a great day.

Tomorrow is relaxation.

Oh! Jammies weekends are my favorite kinds of weekends!

My kids are with their idiot father so I'm going to catch up on errands like I usually do when they are with him. It's the only time I can get things done.

I did absolutely nothing last night besides chatting with SO for a bit. I was in pjs, and bed, really early. I ended up blogging for a bit so I didn't fall asleep as early as I thought I might, but it was still a very quiet evening.

Today I've already dropped a carload of old electronics off at a recycling event, then went to Aldi's to stock up on butter, eggs and other Thanksgiving feast baking items. I think I'm going to whip out my pumpkin cheesecakes for Thanksgiving this weekend, then freeze them.

I still need to move my plants back out of the garage, where I put them during the week when the cold front blew threw. And I have a lot of cleaning to do. But I suspect I'll be sitting on my ass quite a bit today, doing a whole lot of nothing.

I have a date with Netflix.

Tomorrow will have to glance at those history readings for seminar on Monday. We had the week off for Remembrance Day so now I have lazybrainz.
