These waywards are an interesting beast. Had yet another WTF moment on Thursday that is still reverberating through me today.
So, my oldest son is away from home playing hockey this year, and they had a big event late last week. Big deal as they had over 2000 people come and watch. Anyways, STBXWW was there with her latest catch, which I could really care less about. It was a great night watching my boy do his thing in front of all those people.
The next morning, STBXWW dropped off my youngest at my house. I was just dusting off the driveway and she got out of her car after my youngest went in the house. Out of nowhere, she gave me a hug a kiss on my cheek and told me she loves me. My instant reaction was a quick shuffle back to regain my space. I was literally speechless. I think I uttered a few words and then just walked in to the house.
What the hell was that? I just don't understand how or why that happened. I wonder what her boyfriend would think of that??? Ay-yi-yi....

Hey if the new BF is making her act civil and dare I say friendly, go with it. With these XWS you never know what next week brings. I posted last week about having to meet my XWW "Fiance" Turns out I liked the dude. While the X still tried to get me with her little digs, she has been acting much nicer with me. So I am going to take what I can get, when I can get it. I have no illusions that she will stay civil forever. But the less bullshit I get from her the better. I still harbor some bitterness because of what she has done. But I never show it in front of her. I wont give her the satisfaction.
