So this may not be the right place to ask - but has anyone tried BAN? There is a local chapter in my area and I'm considering contacting the coordinator to find out about meetings but wanted some input.

I attended meetings for about 2 years. Do you have specific questions about it?

Beyond Affairs Network - I think if you attended meetings for 2 years that sort of answers my question. My youngest daughter has special needs and when she was a toddler and going through diagnosis it was helpful for me to be a part of a support group and meet with other parents dealing with the same. 14 years later several of us are still in contact. I was thinking BAN would be a way for me to connect with others in my community that can relate to what I'm going through and be another layer of support. I'm just knew to all of this and trying to figure out what I can do for me.

I went to one meeting only. I do like the group but the chapter in my area meets on the night that I have some other commitment. This is the only reason I cannot attend.

I was the only divorced person in the group & also the youngest but they were a loving and supporting bunch so I enjoyed the meetings. Needless to say, having a safe place to talk about the A was the best part of it.

Thanks all for your comments. I've contacted my local chapter and plan to attend the next meeting.

I've gone to a few meetings and plan to continue. Its helpful to be with others who "get it" and to be helped or help others at different phases of journey. Recommend.

Let us know how you liked it, please.

Mammamia-
Bad weather in our area cancelled the meeting. I was so looking forward to it but will try again next week! I'll let you know how it goes. Stupid weather!
