I don't post much but this had to be shared. I happened to unexpectedly be in my old hometown were ex still lives. As I pulled into the service station where he sometimes works (the only one it town) he happened to walk out of the workshop. He saw me, did a double take and rushed back into the workshop. A few minutes later he walked out again and nearly walked into me, then exclaimed 'oh hi, I didn't recognise you, I didn't realise it was you....how are you?" all while walking (scuttling?) rapidly away. WTF? I guess we were only married 24 years, he saw me 3 months ago at our daughters 21st but apparently I'm so changed as to be unrecognisable.
its like he is to ashamed/embarrased? to actually speak to me. Things aren't so happy in la la land from what I hear, OW is very controlling and I suspect he's starting to realise just what price he's paid for a cheap tramp. Whatever...but its made me smile all day.
