That's right! Since I literally have no one to spend the holidays with, not one person left to even exchange a gift with. I realized the only thing that never let me down was my little red jeep. She is 10 years old now and in need of some repairs. So I had a new battery put in and new clutch. Tomorrow I'll spend Xmas with the thing that has been there for me...So no matter what the weather the top's going down and I plan on finding the biggest mud hole around and Jeepie & I are going to have some fun. To be nice I'll treat her to a full cleaning detail for a New Years present. Hey I have to do something or this infidelity crap will win!

Jeeps are great roadtrip cars. How about rescuing a pup to take on roadtrips with you?

I didn't have my dog a year ago, and I still don't know how I managed to get through that ordeal. This time is rough, but I have the experience and knowledge to know that I have and can survive it. I also have the everlasting companion of my sunshine furfriend.

Congrats to your jeep. They're awesome vehicles! (=

Nice! We just painted my jeep a deep dark red. I named him Jean-Claude. He is a little older than yours, a 1947. Lol

Merry Christmas!

Find a BIG puddle and give it a good splash for me! Sounds like a lot more fun than laying flooring in the dining room. That would be mou!

Imagine a ship trying to set sail while towing an anchor. Cutting free is not a gift to the anchor. You must release that burden, not because the anchor is worthy, but because the ship is.

Jersey--our divorces were final the same month last year....I, too , am starting to come out of the cloud I was in for so long and I am starting to appreciate what my life IS now, vs what it's not.

Have a great time in your jeep!!!

OK. No rain. No snow. No mud. So no ride. Decided instead to stay here instead and give Xmas hugs to those who need it. Besides the dirt pit was full of kids trying out their new toys...bikes, cycles and 4 wheelers. Jeepie and I stayed on the sidelines and watched.
