Staying home tonight to grade papers and watch a little TV.
Tomorrow is more grading (sigh), probably doing some vacuuming (more sighing), and then dinner with some fellow SI ladies!
Sunday is grocery shopping, laundry, possibly more grading if I can stand it... but then my kiddos come home, and we have Monday off together, so we're going to do something fun.
Happy weekend, everyone!

Kids are back to college, so tonight, Mom is going to enjoy a little downtime. Tomorrow GDM and I have an excursion and lunch planned. Not sure about tomorrow night or Sunday--at some point, I need to clean. Monday we are going to a museum and antiquing. Quiet weekend for the most part.

Tonight, we're going to Outback Steakhouse to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. His birthday was actually last week, but he was one of many that was hit by that nasty flu/virus that was going around, so we had to postpone.
Tomorrow, I intend to get some serious work done on a photo quilt for my grandother. It'll have pics of all her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Sunday, I plan to do my usual meal prep for the week, cook a nice dinner, and possibly remain in my PJs all way as well.

Friday - heading to a concert with a friend who I haven't seen in a few months. Another friend got me the tickets as a gift (one of their songs got me through the first week or so after D-Day) but then had to bail, so I'm glad my other friend stepped in!
Saturday -- run in the morning, jewelry show at a friend's house, a bit of shopping (the toaster at work today broke so I have to get a new one), and then relaxing at home.
Sunday -- running with a couple of friends, and then no plans.
Monday -- I don't have to work, but I will be at the place I volunteer all day. I love the organization, but I'm starting to resent how much of my time it takes up :(

Tonight doing some cleaning as I have a GF coming in from out of town tomorrow with her (2) girls. In the morning, run, finish cleaning and laundry, hit Sprint because my new phone is not working well! Then shop and visit with my friend and her girls and they are staying over.
Sunday we'll have breakfast and they have a cheer competition in a nearby town so they will take off. I hope to meet friends to see August - Osage County in the afternoon, and spend time with my BF on Monday before heading to Dallas for work early Tuesday morning.

Tonight I had done friends and their kids over for dinner. It was fun, but chaotic with six kids running around!
Tomorrow DD has a play date at a classmate's house in the morning, so DS and I will probably go for a long bike ride. After her play date we are meeting another single mom friend and her son at a trampoline park.
Sunday will probably consist of cleaning, laundry and cooking. I'm sure we'll do a bike ride to the park or something.

Finish packing up my apartment to be ready for the movers on Wednesday. Get change of address card from post office, dye hair, buy t-shirts from old navy and look for a cheap dresser. Oh and donate stuff I don't need or want to move.

I have finally just finished the longest. week. ever.
I'm fucking exhausted.
Teslet free this weekend...and I really need to use my time to get ahead because next week is looking just as full.
I give myself permission to do one small thing for myself each day this weekend so I don't feel like all I'm doing is working.

I just got home--long night trying to learn more about what my team does. I'm working tomorrow to catch up on the week that I missed for training and to finally try accessioning--wish me luck!
Next week will be better, I hope. I'm going to try to take off Friday night to see my favorite local band, then I'm volunteering at a Winter Festival that includes a Polar Plunge (I'll be an interested bystander
)

Just saw this.
Friday was takeout and a movie. Saturday, a bit of shopping, then a birthday party and nice visit with family and friends.
Sunday will bring a train trip into the city for a touring matinée theater show with a friend. Maybe dinner in a café? Tickets were a Christmas present.

I spent the day making lefse with friends. Relaxing tonight. Tomorrow is football playoffs - looking forward to some great games! I might go snowshoeing in the morning if it's not too cold. Lots of new snow to tramp around in. I don't have Monday off, darn it.

tesla - It's great stuff! A lot of fun to make with a bunch of friends too. One of my friends is Norwegian and she was teaching the rest of us. It's a big tradition in her family. My youngest DD could happily survive on it, so I'm freezing some to take to her in a few months.
