I love quotes. I print them out and post them on my office walls so I can look at them during the day and take wisdom from them when I need it. I have carried around a keychain that says "Everything happens for a reason; just believe" for 4 years, and I have lots others. I haven't put any up since dday 3 weeks ago, but these are some that have been up for a while and I wanted to share, in case they are useful to anyone else.

"Everything is going to be alright. Maybe not today but eventually"

"Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle"

"Note to self: RELAX. You are enough. You have enough. You do enough."

"Negative, jealous, hurtful people are irrelevant unless you rent them space in your head" - Mark Hoover

"Every experience, no matter how bad it seems, holds within it a blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it." -Buddha

"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming."

Have a positive day - I know I am trying to! :)

Love ... dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings. -Anais Nin

Ooh! I like that. I had seen those "hero" tattoos before, but hadn't really thought about how they could apply to my own life - and now I totally see the relevance!

I have a tattoo planned for "someday" - about 2 years ago I nearly died after a gall bladder surgery went awry and I was overmedicated in the hospital - I was lucky my now WH was there or I wouldn't have lived. So since then my personal motto has been "Breathe" - I want it on my wrist. Maybe I have that done as one of the things I do "just for myself"...
