Prayers and mojo please, whatever you have to spare.
My beloved 10 year old cat is at the vet. Bloodwork done yesterday was not good. X-rays being done right now, in search of tumor. I may lose him today.

Update: my sweet baby Shadow has a large tumor on his liver. Nothing to be done. I probably should have put him down today... The vet assures me he's not in any pain, just weak from anemia and not eating much. He gave me some pills to help with inflammation and stimulate appetite. They'll either help, or they won't. Either way time is short. Perhaps very short. My vet gave me his cell number in case things go bad suddenly over the weekend. Thank god I have a terrific vet.
Thank you all for the prayers and mojo. We need it.

So very sorry gypsy! A couple of years ago my beloved 15 yr old Ashley, had a stroke. She rallied for a short time, about a month and a half, then she quickly went downhill. We live in a small town and have a wonderful vet, right around the corner. When the time came, she canceled her other appointments to take us in. I don't know what I would have done without her.
It's never easy to have to make that decision, but to have the support of a wonderful vet, can make it just a tiny bit easier. I'm so very sorry you have to go through this! They are such small creatures, but they just take over our hearts so completely. Sending you and your sweet boy so much mojo and thoughts! (((Gypsy & furbaby)))

My beloved Shadow crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully this afternoon at about 3:30. Less than two hours ago and already his absence is a huge hole in my heart. Thank you all for the support. It means a lot to me at a time when I'm feeling very alone.
