I think that I have post-pregnancy created allergies.... because my nose has been running non-stop for months....and nothing is working...I have never had allergies before....but this is getting ridiculous... I'm on flonase nasal spray....does absolutely NOTHING for me....and I just took a nighttime off brand zurtec....

I'm desperate....anyone ever have this problem.... the tissue companies are loving me right now!!!! UGH!

I had this problem my whole life. I was literally known for blowing my nose.

Then I quit dairy for 30 days. It took me a couple of weeks to realize that my nose wasn't running anymore.

Now, if I eat dairy, I wake up with a runny nose and phlegm in my throat.

I don't know why, I have no idea how dairy consumption would affect a mucous membrane (maybe inflammation?) but it's worth a try?

The only solution is to have some allergy testing to find the likely cause. Maybe it's something in your dad's house since you moved recently? Maybe a mould in the bathroom or dust mites perhaps, a flower or tree in the garden.

I have had this and these all my life. Today I have had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic medication. I have this medication numerous times over my life no explanation as to why though.

It's pretty common to develop allergies later in

life.

If it started shortly after you moved, then it could be something in the house.

The only way to be sure of what you are allergic to is by getting tested.

You also probably need to get off the Flonase and try something else.

She11y, I think I might have a solution for you as your post was me a few years back! I was on everything and then some. I have the most awful allergies.

The answer you are looking for is the generic Walmart brand CHILDRENS Zyrtec!!!!!! YES, I said CHILDRENS! It is the only stuff I can take and within 3 days-BOOM I feel great and my runny nose has stopped.

I always recommend this to people and it always works for them. The look on a person's face when I say the generic children's Zyrtec is priceless

Ps...the grape one has a pretty good taste! Even my DS likes to take it!

I forgot to say that be sure to take it every day during allergy season. If not, it starts back up again. I made this mistake once and said never again.
