The ex and I are finally divorced. Well, really, as of July. (yay!). We agree on everything except child support and that is really not up to him. My lawyer is going through personnel changes and has been dragging her feet on doing my separation agreement. If we agree and everything is cool, can I do it myself? Part of the agreement includes a payout from his 401K. Can I do that myself as well? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hopefully someone can help you out. Which state/province are you in? That will probably make a big difference.
