Is this the right location for this post? If not, I apologize...
Hey guys - What can I do if I'm worried about an SI member that I haven't heard from, isn't responding to PM, and they haven't posted in over a month??
I know people come and go on here...just worried is all...
Any thoughts?? Thanks!

I usually just ask, "Has anyone heard from XYZ?".
Who is the member you're worried about?

sometimes the mods will check to see when the last time someone signed on was. I think that's as far as they can go...

haha I guess that makes sense!!
The member is SWANK. I haven't heard from her in over a month, and last we spoke she was leaving on vacation with her W...and that was a month ago!
She will probably read this and think I'm crazy, but I'm just worried for her. I think I watch too much 48 Hours Mystery.

Swank last logged in on 3/31. Sometimes members are online steady for weeks/months, then take a break. Also, it depends on what else is going on in their lives.

Thank you Jo2Love!
The 31st is the last time I heard from her. I hope she is doing well.

2 years ago I was absent for a couple of weeks and there was a most thoughtful concerned post asking if anyone had heard from me. My DD14 at the time had an emergency medical situation, then I dropped my phone in the toilet (I post on SI from my phone) so that's why I was gone. So maybe there's something going on that was unexpected. Hopefully she will be back soon.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I sometimes go months without visiting this site, then something throws me into a tailspin and I come back. In all honesty, my better weeks are the ones when I'm not staring at posts all night here. Not because I don't appreciate SI's function, but because my mind is elsewhere.

Glad I saw this today. I'm hoping someone can check to see if JerseyCowgirl has been on. It's been at least a couple of months since she posted in S/D and her last posts were pretty grim. Any word would be welcomed.

Sometimes when things are going well in R (or S/D for that matter
) you have no need to post, or even log in... Often, as time passes, the lengths between log ins gets bigger and bigger. I hadn't logged in in like a year on dday2...
