Occasionally, I'll see an article in a magazine or online that says "My husband's affair saved our marriage." What? I mean really, WHAT? Is this true for anyone? Are people really grateful that their spouse cheated on them? When I found out, I wanted to crawl under the covers and die. It changed everything ... how I looked at marriage, people, the world. A part of my heart died that day and there are people out there who are grateful? I get it ... the affair showed them that there were problems in their marriage ... blah blah blah. I don't believe there is anything good about finding out that the person you trusted with your life is a liar and a backstabber.

On the radio this morning, they were talking about this article "from a website that facilitates cheating" about the "real reasons women stray." As though it were gospel. Really? Do you not think a website that "facilitates cheating" is going to have a bias toward excusing cheaters?

They took a call from a woman who said she cheated on her husband, but it was 8 years ago, and he's really straightened up his act now and they reconciled because he fixed what he was doing wrong. I was screaming at the radio like a crazy person. The idiot hosts were lapping it up. I feel so sorry for her husband.
