This weekend we have a family wedding to go to. We had committed to it long before things had reached the stage of wondering whether to separate. We've been kind of doing an "in-house" separation, and as things have calmed a bit, and maybe for the sake of the weekend, I'm suggesting to my H that I'm open to a bit more closeness, though I still feel a bit fragile. We are still looking for a separate place (outside of the caregiving home) which would give both of us a chance to get away, or perhaps an opportunity for us to try living apart if needed.
Anybody else been "on again off again" in terms of living separate lives?

I'm not sure if this counts but after the A we were trying to work things out so we were together...then WH decides he wants an in-house separation (not A related) I went to my mom's place in another state. Like I want to be with him in the same house after that. I didn't call or text the whole time. When I got home he had changed his mind and wanted to work things out. With some work things got better. I think we needed the separation.
