There was a great post by Howcthappen recently discussing those who believe in God and karma. I want to start something similar. To me, everything has a spiritual aspect to it and this aspect must taken with great weight and is key to understanding infidelity. To me, unseen spirits, good and bad, demons, are real.
When my wayward and mean first got together I would say it was through the will of The Most Highs. We were deeply in love and full of the Ruach HaKodesh, or Holy Spirit if you will, with pure love, loving life and nature. My wayward was healthy body, healthy mind. At least as much as she ever was in her life. But she didn't have as strong of a "connection" to God as I did. She didn't bring it to her conscious all the way. Subconsciously she showed love to God & nature. But it wasn't strong enough. As time went on, my faith grew, and she.. she started rejecting all that was holy.
I feel very strongly that the reason why I relationship went sour over time is that she rejected God. Women are the mothers of nations and their vessels are open to spirits, good and bad, stronger than men. My wayward had a childhood of abandonment by her cheating father, abusive mother, 2 abortions when she was in college.. She has tumors in her womb.. All while the world is actively trying to kill people with demonic food, water, media, thoughts, images, etc, etc.
All this to say she couldn't keep it together. Despite our beautiful start, the relationship eroded away when she started letting demonic spirits change her. It was a horrible thing to see over time. Going from good to okay to terrible. Like she was not the same person as when I met her, totally opposite. I've heard many BS say this. It seems to be more true than we know. Most have heard of the Jezebel spirit, and some the Ahab spirit. To put them simply are evil as hell. Against all things holy. When I saw her change, I saw the Jezebel spirit take over her. She allowed it and didn't stop it.
I think many that don't believe in spirits will say it is all the WS and nothing else. And this isn't to give an excuse to waywards for their actions but just to say there is more going on then we can see.
What spiritual and religious aspects have you experienced around infidelity?
