Sadly, I cannot change the dream endings any more.
Yes, I have heard that it (house) is one's SELF.
Wow, that used to be such fun!
Mom, I also used to have that feeling sometimes of being hardly able to breathe...be like so paralyzed then I'd be able to gasp for more air and start to be able to move myself about. Its horrible! I can't recall the name of it, but if you google sleep disorders, you can read up on it.
Its damned scary!
I think it might be called "sleep paralysis"?
Nannerz~ how cool!
My DD would watch all these goulish movies before and dream the bad guys were breaking into her home and she'd arm herself like a Ninja and go after all their asses!
I'm very sensitive and won't watch/cannot watch any "blood/gore/violence".
My BP meds have greatly screwed up my sleep cycle and my dreams now, but when I have a really GOOD one sometimes, its like Dreamboat says!

I don't talk, walk or fly, but I do have vivid dreams, and some of them have been profetic. In fact, I had one come true today. The weirdest profetic dream was about stbxwh's serious accident when he was a PO. I dreamed about it before I even met him, and we were only 17 when we met; he did not become a PO until he was 29.
I also have night terrors; I am (or seem to be) awake and have had dreams where I could see someone standing over my bed, had the person start to climb into the bed and had to wake myself up with a scream!
Another one was when I was sleeping on my stomach with the covers over my head; someone was holding the covers down and I could not breath; once again I had to wake myself up with a scream.
I am weird.

I did not used to have these. But I have had a few (2-3) in the past 2-3 years. Usually it is one person describing me like a specimen and then another (with a crowd behind him/her) coming in WAAY to close and leaning over me. I usually wake up screaming "Get back!"

Wow, SAD, those are horrible to have!
I also "problem solve" in my dreams and can still do it; in fact, I think I've gotten better at it over the years. Like I'll be thinking about a certain thing all day long and how to handle it or deal with it or where to put it, etc...and when I awaken, I have my answer!
Anyone else do this?

While not actually DREAMING about the problem, I will wake up with the answer. I think that's very common.
In my childhood I flew in my dreams. They were some of the best moments of my life. I did not know I was dreaming. I do not sleepwalk.
In my adult life I have flown a few times. But in my adult life, I am often like a balloon and have trouble landing, often feel like I will crash. I would love to have the ability to tell myself "you're dreaming, you can't get hurt".
Very common since D-Day-I dream I find a hidden room, and that everything in there is a delight, and it's all mine. IC says that is simply me discovering myself.
