This happened in my daughter's high school with a teacher and track coach but I didn't know about it until my daughter told me they are getting married. He wasn't married but this is sick. She was 16 or 17 and on the track team and there were rumors around school but nothing confirmed. She's now out of college and still together and getting married.

The interview of her is gross, I feel she got away with a crime. Double standards!

Pretty CHeerleader/teacher has sex with am underage student and moves on without jail time, headed to law school.
aweee....how nice.
From what I got from the interview she was divorced before Cody came along.
Married 1998. 2 kids. First discovery 3/2009. Multiple affairs, porn addiction. one failed attempt at R. Nested for over a year. Divorce final 8/2015. XH is now married. I am engaged!

If this were a 27yo male teacher and a 17yo girl they would have strung him up by his balls and publicly castrated him. I

I have been a HS teacher for a while now... this is just so disgusting. Never once have I ever been attracted to my students, even when I was only four or five years older than they were at the start of my career!
We just don't want to grow up nowadays, do we? I feel like the age when one is considered an adult keeps going higher and higher. It's now perfectly acceptable to behave like a teenager in your 20s and 30s (and even beyond at times). It doesn't surprise me that we keep hearing about these nasty HS teacher/student relationships more frequently-- the teachers no longer think that they have to behave like adults!
I hope that they took her certification away. She shouldn't be allowed in a classroom ever again.

They did. She cant teach any more... she is now going to law school
