Go on your trip. Then, send him the part in the agreement about vacation. . Also attach his note that gave the ok for said trip. Remind him there is no make up clause.

Just HOW stupid do you think I am, exactly?

I am thinking I will go on the trip and then send him something. I just want to make sure that I cover my own a$$. I just got this new job and I hope to be able to hire an attorney soon to lock down some issues I am very very tired of being bullied by these two.

What an ass.

In my state, the guidelines say that vacation time and holiday schedule trumps regular visitation schedule. Ex-shat choose his vacation time with Teslet and it fell on 'my' weekend. So when I choose my vacation time with Teslet, it fell on 'his' weekend. (He gets to choose first for vacation time according to our guidelines)

I would not go 'crickets' on this, as it has to do with your child and it could easily spiral out of control based on his reaction (asshole!)

I would send him a copy of the decree with the pertinent paragraph highlighted regarding making the child available for vacation. I would then state that no where in the decree does it address make up time, and in the future you will be sticking to the decree as it is written (if you decide you want to go this route, understanding that he can do the same when he takes your DS on vacation.)

Hey all, I found a website where you can ask your legal questions to a local attorney and they respond. In short, the attorney said there is no standard in WA State for "make up" time and as my agreement is written I do not have to give it too him

So, I will keep this info tucked away until after my trip and deal with Mr. Magnanimous later
