UPDATE: My son just called and they told him they no longer think she is in a coma and she should be okay and up and running in a few days!! They found an infection in her system and think thats what may have caused it they still are not sure. Thank you for all the prayers they meant a lot to the family.

Septic shock (if that is the type of infection to which you were referring) will definitely threaten organ failure. I am so relieved to hear they found the cause and that she is recovering so well!
