I was overworked, unappreciated, overlooked, undervalued, taken advantage of, taken for granted, allowed to pull the fully loaded wagon.

I was working fulltime, and had a company I ran at home for 10 years. Took care of me, him and two boys. Did all the bill paying, grocery shopping, school, sports, you name it.

Oh, he did do some grocery shopping.....for his beer!

While he was banging OW for 2-1/2 years I was home on Fridays running my business and when done with that would do all the mowing (2 acres), have supper ready, clothes washed.

Whew...just talking about it makes me tired.

I have a very solid, secure career. I've been in the corporate world since I was 19, and have worked my way up.

My ex was unemployed or underemployed for the majority of our relationship. Even when he had the best job, and earned the most, I made 2x to 3x more than him a year.

I paid all the bills. I did 95% of the housework - he cooked dinner a few nights a week, but that was it.

He had it made, really... but I think he resented that I was more successful than him.
